The time has come yet again, to help I Capture Castle obtain a spot on the summer’s largest music festival. Ernie Ball has launched their 17th annual Battle Of The Bands, giving artists the opportunity to perform live at Vans Warped Tour in their home town. Each year, thousands of bands compete, but only 4 are selected to play on each date of the tour. Each band that is chosen will also be eligible to win a $15,000 Guitar Center shopping spree, a 2 week slot on the 2014 Vans Warped Tour, and more. I Capture Castle was fortunate enough to play Warped Tour 2011, but it’s up to you to bring them back this year!
How can you help? Go to BattleOfTheBands.com and vote for I Capture Castle. You can vote daily and you don’t have to set up an account this year. It’s really that simple. You can also show your support by sharing their Battle Of The Bands profile, playing their songs, and commenting on their page. Additionally, every time I Capture Castle is mentioned on FaceBook or Twitter, it helps to boost their ‘Buzz Rating’, which is also a factor in this year’s competition. Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 29th as Warped Tour 2013 makes their stop in Salt Lake City. The competition for this date will close on June 8th (3 weeks prior to the event).

Named after the anti-materialistic best-selling novel, American metalcore band The Devil Wears Prada is no newcomer to the music scene. Since the group was formed in 2005, they have released four full-length albums, one DVD, one EP, and seven music videos. Led by an unbreakable vision and an impressive tour history, their latest studio album ‘Dead Throne’ peaked at #10 on the Billboard Top 200 Charts, selling more than 32,000 copies in its first week. With no obvious intention of slowing down, these juggernauts of modern metal are sure to keep us on our toes; both on the dance floor, and in anticipation of what’s soon to come.

Be sure to tune in to Park City Television on Monday, January 28th to watch an exclusive live performance and in-depth interview with the members of I Capture Castle. Airing at 6:00 PM (MST), they will bring us up to date with the details of their new album, as well as give us a sneak peak into what we can expect from the band in the future.
Park City Television has won 5 Emmys in the last 3 years and has received more Gold Utah Broadcast Awards than any other station statewide. They are broadcasted throughout most of Utah and will reach select areas in Wyoming, giving the station a total coverage of approximately 1 million viewers.
